The “head map”: the visualization that specialists love

A picture is worth a thousand words, and in neurophysiology, a well-designed head map saves crucial minutes. In the same study, all respondents positively valued the inclusion of the color-coded head map, which speeds up the location of irritating foci or asymmetries. Following suggestions from some neurosurgeons, we added an extra color to differentiate slow activity from other abnormalities, making reading even faster. By combining structured text and visualization, the report becomes a tool that any specialist can "listen" to at a glance.
